Willa Archer Obituary
JONESBOROUGH - Mrs. Willa Ann Archer, age 86, Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Franklin Woods Hospital.
Willa was born on June 18, 1936, to the late Hubert and Edna Mongold Daniels.
She attended Fountain of Life Bible Church and was a homemaker. Willa loved working in the yard, her flowers, and her cats.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Leland Earl Archer.
Willa is survived by her children, Marvin Archer, Marilyn Archer-Branum (Mike aka "Moose") and Allen Archer; sister, Jane Rhudy; caregiver and special friend, Verna Heaton Vance; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Broyles officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 prior to the service and all other times at Allen's home. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Archer Cemetery.
A special thank you to the nursing staff and Dr. Niravkumar Patel on the second floor of Franklin Woods, for their excellent care.
