William Anthony Thacker July 8, 2024
CHURCH HILL - William Anthony Thacker, 63, of Church Hill, TN passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company after 28 years of service. He enjoyed watching college football, and especially loved his Tennessee Volunteers as well as NASCAR, and other sports. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and maintaining his yard. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Quinton and Bessie Thacker; father-in-law, Bruce Wilson; and his brother-in-law, Michael Bean.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Thacker; sons, Steven Thacker and wife Krystal, Jaryd Thacker and wife Aleigha, and Chase White; grandchildren, Elijah Thacker, Joshua Woody, and Sophie Woody; sister, Patricia Bean; brother, Tim Thacker and girlfriend Tammie; mother-in-law, Cynthia Wilson; brother-in-law, Charles Clark and wife Lisa; nieces and nephews, Whitney Yoakley and husband Terry, Chad Bean, Grace Thacker, Emily Morris, Jakob Debord, Ryleigh Yoakley, and Aubree Clark.
The family will receive friends from 3 pm until 4 pm on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Scott County Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow with Pastor Troy Daily officiating. The family will also receive friends any time at their home.

Billy and I worked together for years at Eastman. He was a great friend and coworker. We had some great times and we kept in touch through the years. I am really sad to hear about Billy.
