We are saddened to announce the passing of our strong, courageous, and compassionate daughter, Abigail Denise Hilton. She passed away on August 11th of 2025, after a lifelong battle with her heart at the age of 23. She was a graduate of Sullivan South High School and Northeast Community College with an associates degree in nursing. She went on to work as an RN in the pediatric department at Niswonger Children's Hospital. She loved to read, crochet, hammock, and swim, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her niece who she adored the most.
Left to cherish Abigail's memories are her parents, Coantha and Adam Light, her biological father David Hilton, her sisters Sarah Hilton and Rebekah Wyant and husband Elliott and their daughter Madeline, as well as her many grandparents, aunts and uncles.
We would like you to come celebrate her life with us at Renewed Church in Kingsport. Receiving of friends and family will be Sunday, August 17th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a short service to follow. Please wear blue and bring a picture of Abigail with you.

I remember her being two-year-old and we would hang out and go to parks and chuck e cheese or we'd hang out at the house. I am sorry we lost Iost contact thru life's trials. Im here for you if you need anything Coantha. Prayers for all of you at this time. I'm just a message a way. Abigail you sure are beautiful like your sisters. God bless you all. RIP Abigail.

Nurse Abby always took the absolute best care of my son Samuel whom is special needs. She definitely had a calling for her career. The way she cared for my son was truly touching. She was so kind and truly cared about her patients. I'm forever grateful for this sweet soul. RIP sweet girl! Prayers for the family.
