KINGSPORT - Anna Pearl (Hartsock) Salyer, age 79, of Kingsport, TN, entered into her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Waiting to greet her is her mother, Carrie Davis and her first husband George Hartsock. Those she left behind are her husband, Vance Salyer of Kingsport, TN; son, Wayne Hartsock and wife Julie of Johnson City, TN; her only grandchild, Wayne Hartsock, Jr. of Johnson City; sister, Edith Salyer of Castlewood, VA; brother, Roy F. Davis and wife Trish of Castlewood, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Colonial Funeral Home in Weber City, VA. Service will follow at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Tim Hodges officiating.
A private graveside service for the family will follow at Grassy Creek Cemetery in Russell County, VA.
In lieu of flowers, should anyone want to honor Anna Pearl's memory a contribution to Sullivan County Humane Society would be a blessing.

Vance and Wayne this is Ralph jr. Aka EDDIE I miss my aunt pearl/ 2nd mom there couldn't been a greater woman then aunt pearl her death had left a emptiness in my heart I will always love her and her smile and no matter how down or how you feel she would always made you laugh. I wanted to come unfortunately I had no form of transportation and that alone broke my heart. I love you uncle Vance and 1st cuz Wayne.

Vance, Wayne and Family, I was so sorry to hear of Pearl's passing. I have known her for many years and she was a wonderful lady. I know how you all will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time.
