Barbara Dockery-Taylor Obituary
October 7, 2024
FALL BRANCH - Barbara Dockery-Taylor, 79, of Fall Branch, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024. She was a beloved member of Logans Chapel United Methodist Church Choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Taylor; and mother and father, Lucion and Dorothy Dockery.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Katherine Carroll; brother, Conley Dockery; nephew, Mike Dockery; nieces, Elizabeth Tritapoe and Andrea Caliborne; several great nieces and nephews; and best friends, Sharon Patterson and Rick Lewis.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Logans Chapel Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Ryan Shelton officiating.
Burial will follow at Logans Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Dockery, Jerry Chatman, Eden Musick, Rick Lewis, James Chatman, and Kevin Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Lee and the men of Logans Chapel Methodist Church.
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Franklin Woods as well as her great niece, Ashlee Hutchins for helping take care of her.
