Dennis Dykes Obituary

Dennis Evan Dykes age 49, of Knoxville, formerly of Kingsport, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2025. He was of the Baptist faith, and a graduate of Kingsport Christian. He loved playing baseball, basketball and soccer, and was an avid UT football fan!
He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Helen Dykes.
He is survived by mother, Gwendolyn (James) Cowan, his former wife of 20 years, Kimberly Lener Webb, daughter, Alyssa (Nathan) Ward, son, Dylan Dykes, grandchildren, Emily and Asher Ward, siblings: John Galliher, Jennifer Galliher, Lori (David) Idels, Thomas Dykes, Jr., and Kinda Baxter; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday June 6, 2025, from 6:00-7:00 PM at Grace Full Gospel Baptist Church (136 Ashley Lane Corryton, TN 37721) followed by a 7:00 PM memorial service officiated by Rev. Nathan Ward. An online obituary may be viewed, and condolences made at www.mynattfh.com.
