BLOUNTVILLE - Elva made her home in Blountville, TN, working in various positions all of her life with cooking and cleaning being her main passion. She was a devoted mother and loving wife for nearly 70 years. Elva was a member of Holly Springs Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Howard Ramey and Mabel Grace Denton Ramey; brother William Clyde Ramey; and nephew Steven Ramey.
Survivors include husband Robert "Bob" Huffman; son Terry Huffman (Rhonda P. Culbertson); brother James C. Ramey (Barbara); brothers-in-law Don Huffman and Terrell Smith; grandpup Jake who she adored; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held at Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Kingsport on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm at East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664) with Pastor Randy Shupe officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:50 am.
