KINGSPORT - Frank James Ketron, 82, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born in Hiltons, VA to the late Rev. Rader and Nell Ketron. He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid outdoorsman. Frank was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Ketron.

Survivors include his daughter, Vicky Ketron; grandchildren, Jessica, Josh, and Jennifer Hartsock; great grandsons, Roger Meade and Leighton Hartsock; brothers, Jack Ketron and wife Margie, and Joe Ketron and wife Jean; sister, Sue Nichols, and Phyllis Brown and husband Ray; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Hermon UMC Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Ketron officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bristol Rehab and Memory Care and Caris Hospice for their loving care.
