Freddie (Wayne) Jennings, Jr. March 31, 2024 KINGSPORT - Freddie (Wayne) Jennings Jr., 57, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, March 31st, 2024.
He was a skilled carpenter, constructing houses and businesses throughout the Tri-Cities.
Wayne enjoyed playing all sports with a specific love for golf, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Patricia Jenning; aunts, Carol Nelson and Janie Stallard; cousin, Todd Halverson; and grandmother, Dorthy Jennings.
Those left to cherish Wayne's memory are his wife, Darla Jennings; daughter, Kelli Smith; son, Brett Jennings (Emily); grandchildren, Jayden Quackenbush and Mia Smith; brother, Jesse Jennings (Susie); extended family Brenda Parker; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Taylored Venue & Events, 115 Shelby Street Kingsport, Tennessee 37660.
