ROGERSVILLE – Gladys Marie Lane, 92, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Gladys was born on October 30, 1932, in Scott Co., VA to her parents, the late Benjamin and Ollie (Hensley) Lane. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Gladys loved her family more than anything.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Lane; children, Cathy Bell, Danna Cooper, Michael Lane (Darlene), and Rocky Lane (Becky); grandchildren, Jason, Jesse, Rebecca, Ruth Ann, Whitney, Zachary, Mikey, and Travis; great grandchildren, Bryson, Ayden, Jocelyn, Archer, Aliviana, Ivan, and Liam; her dog, Butters; sister, Jean Bise; brother, Ray Lane; as well as many extended family members, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel Pastor James Frazier officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Collins Family Cemetery, 130 Skelton Rd. Rogersville, TN 37857. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 am.
