KINGSPORT - Harold Grogg, 86, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Born in Saltville, VA, he had resided most of his life in Kingsport. Harold was in the US Army Reserves for a total of six years, having attended NCO school at Fort Benning, GA. He had retired from Eastman Chemical Company following 35 years of service. Harold loved to fish, antique cars, and working in his yard and flowers. He was a member of Kingsley UMC.
Harold was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Grogg; daughter, Becky Hilton; parents, Charles and Roxie Grogg; sister, Sue Richardson; stepson, Lance Compton.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Grogg; daughter, Debi Willis and husband, David; three grandchildren, Andrew Hilton, Ben Hilton, and Matilee Feathers; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Amos Sr. officiating.
