ROGERSVILLE - Kayla Danielle Tustin, age 36, of Rogersville, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2026 at Holston Valley Medical Center after battling cancer.
Kayla was born to Hank and Regina Tustin on July 19, 1989. She graduated from Volunteer High School. She worked many years at The Dairy Mart in Surgoinsville. Kayla enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved a good Boggle game. Her favorite pastime was to clean and decorate. Kayla loved to spend time with her niece, Layken.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry "Hank" Tustin Jr.; sister, Candace Reed; aunt, Pamela Gregory; uncle, Kenny Farmer.
She is survived by her mother, Regina Tustin; brothers, Brandon Tustin (Scarlett), Josh Tustin (Alison), twin brother, Kyle Tustin; grandfather, Larry Sinor; grandmother, Gene Gordon; aunts, Mary Farmer, Pat Farmer, Micki Heaton (Mark), Yvonne Schwartzbeck, and Lona Kelly; nieces, Layken Tustin, Katie Kenner (Adam), and Corena Patton; nephew, Xavier Reed; great-nieces and nephews, Dalton Kenner, Colson Kenner, and Briella Kenner.
The family of Kayla wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all the people associated with Kayla's care, especially Alicia Ramey.
Visitation hours will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
