KINGSPORT - Louise Wheatley Teague, 92, of Kingsport, TN passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Louise was born on December 20, 1932 in Greeneville, TN to the late Edward M. Wheatley and Dollie Wheatley Pierce.
Louise was a homemaker and retired from Colonial Heights Pharmacy and Gift Dept. She and husband Jerry were members of Colonial Heights Baptist Church for 65 years where she enjoyed teaching First Grade Sunday School for many years. She graduated from Greeneville High School.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Jerry Cameron Teague, her parents, Edward M. Wheatley and Dollie Wheatley Pierce; brother, Charles E. (Buddy) Wheatley; sister, Helen Wheatley Wilhoit (Austin); and mother and father-in-law, Walter and Edith Teague.
Louise is survived by her children, Edward Teague (Leshia), Amy Teague Settle (Roy), and David Teague (Rachel), all of Kingsport; grandchildren, Lindsey Teague Ghiultu (Andrei), Daniel Teague, Douglas and Brandon Settle; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Nico Ghiultu, Rylan, Graceyn and Logan Teague; sisters-in-law, Shirley Teague and Laura (Lollie) Ellis, and special nephews, Brett and Charles Wilhoit.
Graveside services officiated by Dr. Greg Burton will take place at 10am on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Hamlett Dobson Memorial Park
