ROGERSVILLE - Roger Kevin Vaughn, 58, of Blountville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Roger was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He loved going to the drag races and Muddy Creek races. Roger loved the outdoors, especially hunting. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gladys Vaughn; nephew, Mark Osborne.
Survivors include son, Jesse Logan Vaughn and fiancé Andrea; special daughter, Katelyn Lipoma; grandson, Sailor Vaughn; brothers, Russell Vaughn and wife Dawn, Lyle Vaughn and wife Wynona and Steve Vaughn; sister, Kathy Broyles and husband Joe; several nieces, nephews and cousins, along with too many special friends to mention.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phil Kestner officiating. Graveside services will be conducted following the funeral at Walnut Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be chosen from family and friends.

Devastated to hear this news. Roger was my childhood best friend. He was the coolest person. Great friend. We grew up together. I have no words to describe my feelings. He was the best. I will miss my best buddy. Rest in peace my brother.
