Volena Klepper Obituary

ROGERSVILLE - Volena Burdine Klepper, age 96, of Rogersville, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at her residence following a period of declining health. She was an active member of Hickory Cove Baptist Church serving as a Sunday School teacher and choir member. Volena was a faithful member of The Order of the Eastern Star with 75 years of membership. She was preceded in death by her
husband Leroy S. Klepper, parents, Ollie C. and Florence Cope Burdine, sisters, Jessie (Donald) Cope, Juanita (Edgar) Drinnon, Ammie (Arnold) Jones, sisters-in-law Louise (C.H.) Byrd, Mary Elizabeth Bell, and nephew-in-law Sam Lipe.
Survivors include her daughters, Gena Davis and husband Ira of Rogersville, Lesa Klepper of Chattanooga, grandchildren, Wes and Brandon McBrayer, great
grandchildren Shaelyn and Cruz McBrayer, nieces and nephews, Sherry (Jim)
Spain, Charlotte (Gene) Price, Lois Lipe, Diane (Melville) Bailey and Ronnie (Teresa) Bell.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2025, in the chapel with Rev. Tommy Seals and Rev. Caleb Seals officiating.
Interment will follow in McKinney Cemetery.
