Archie "Chip" Taylor Moore, III

April 20, 2025

FALL BRANCH - Archie "Chip" Taylor Moore, III, 59, of Fall Branch, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Chip was born on March 8, 1966, to Archie and Ann Moore.

Chip was a 1984 graduate of Sullivan South High School. He began his work career at an early age at Shoney's followed by General Shale, AFG, and then many years as a truck driver.

He was known for his warm heart, easy smile, and genuine love for those around him. Chip never met a stranger. His gift for conversation left lasting impressions on everyone he met.

Chip cherished time with family and friends, loved a good home cooked meal, and traveling with his wife.

He will be remembered for his strength, humor, love that he gave freely, and the joy he found in everyday moments.

Chip was preceded in death by his father, Archie Taylor Moore, Jr.

Those left to cherish Chip's memory are his loving wife, Cenna Moore; mother, Ann Moore; daughters, Carilea Moore and Brittney Moore; sisters, Debby Range (Pete) and Melissa Moore Snell; brother, Greg Moore (Traci); stepsons, Cody Kaylor and Dylan Kaylor (Sara); grandchildren, Savannah, Bryson, and Sarah Moore, Ginger Wright, and Hallie and Natalie Kaylor; mother-in-law, Sue Smith; sister-in-law, Connie Smith; brother-in-law, Micheal Smith (Tamara); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Dave Begley officiating.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 12:00 pm Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Section D. Pallbearers will be Bryson Moore, Donnie Oaks, Gary Holden, Steve Shelton, Greg Moore, Cody Kaylor, Dylan Kaylor, and Micheal Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Conkin, Terry Ketron, Tony Mullinex, Arthur Franklin, and many truck driving friends.

The family wished to express their gratitude to Dr. Yonette Paul, Alisha Deirth, Ballad Cancer Center, Dr. David Penson, and Smoky Mountain Hospice.
