Bobby Ray Shockley

March 10, 1946 -

March 25, 2025

Bobby was born in Osaka, VA to Bill and Bertie Shockley on March 10th, 1946. On March 25th, 2025, he closed his eyes here on Earth and opened them in Heaven. Bobby married the love of his life, Sharon, on April 25th, 1966. Bobby was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Thomas(2024) and several brothers and sisters.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Sharon, his son Bobby Jr.(Shirley), grandchildren Chloe and Ella Shockley and his daughter-in-law Tonya Shockley.

The family will receive friends on Thursday April 3, 2025 from 5-6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 150 New Beason Well Road, Kingsport. The service will start at 6:00 p.m. at the church and is being officiated by Pastor Robert Fletcher and special music will be provided by Brother Rick Harris. This will be followed by a time of remembrance and fellowship at the church.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 10a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Those planning to attend are asked to be at the cemetery by 9:45a.m.

Pallbearers will be members of Good Shepherd Baptist Church.
