Clarence Grills Obituary
KINGSPORT - Clarence Lee Grills, 79, of Kingsport went to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 23, 2023. He was born and raised in Kingsport and retired from Eastman Chemical Company. Clarence loved the Lord, farming, NASCAR racing and Street Rods. He especially loved to farm with his son Brandon and cousin Tom Hite. Clarence was loved by many, and his legacy will live on through his many children.
Proceeding him in death were his parents, Vernon and Viola Grills.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Grills; sons Brandon Grills, Jaxon Grills, John Grills, Jaiden Grills, Jerod Grills and Dravin Salyer; daughter, Madilene Grills; sister, Carolyn Pratt (Robert); several nieces and nephews; special cousins, Judy Grills, Janice Gamble and Tom Hite.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dan Dolen officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:00am at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park.
