Denny Ward Obituary
February 15, 2025
Denny Ward, 82, entered into Heaven February 15th, 2025. He was a much-loved husband, and the best daddy and papaw in the world. He loved God, spending time with family, riding horses, running his beagles, telling tall tales and spoiling his beloved grandchildren. He was a long-time member of Holy Mt. Baptist Church and attended Shades of Grace as well.
Denny is survived by the love of his life, his wife Nancy. Daughter Faith Snodgrass, son-in-law Eric Snodgrass, stepson Lance Bentley, daughter-in-law Daphne Bentley. Niece whom he raised as his own, Gracie Pierson. Son Jeff (MaryBeth) Ward. Grandchildren Savannah Snodgrass and fiancée Matt Dean, Silas Snodgrass, Levi Bentley, Elizabeth (Blake) Trent, Chris Ward, Emily Crawford. Several nieces and nephews. A cousin he loved like a brother, Virgil Arnold. A host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday February 19th from 5-7 at Holy Mountain Baptist Church 3121 Ashley St., Kingsport TN, 37664. There will be fellowship and refreshments. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Mountain Baptist Church.

Met Denny through Faith and Nancy over at the Snodgrass barn
He greeted my husband and me as old friends with story of an inside family joke. The friendship was as constant as his smile.
