KINGSPORT - John William Branam, 89, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at NHC in Kingsport.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Christian Church in Kingsport with Pastor Phip Sams and Pastor Ed Clevinger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in John's memory be made to a charity of your choice.
East Lawn Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. John William Branam.

Sara and I have known John for many years, and he and his wife Joyce were two of the friendliest Christians we've ever met. When we attended First Christian, John always had a smile and a nice comment to make. I know where John is, and I look forward to meeting him again one of these days in Heaven!

We have many great memories of time spent with John and Joyce. Vacations from Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head and Cancun, lots of eating out and occasionally venturing out for the rare milkshake. We miss those times. Rest well friend.
