Keith Marsh January 9, 1952 - April 19, 2024
MOUNT CARMEL - Keith Marsh, age 72, of Mount Carmel, Tennessee, rode his Harley into Heaven on Friday, April 19, 2024. He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on January 9, 1952 to parents, Richard and Marie Marsh. Keith graduated from Church Hill High School in 1970 where he played football and earned his Letterman's jacket. He started working at Eastman Chemical Company in 1971 as a chemical operator. He made his career in the restaurant industry, owning the Dairy Cone in Weber City, Virginia from 1988-1997 and the Dairy Cup in Mount Carmel from 1997 to 2019.
Among his many bucket list accomplishments, he was most proud of riding his motorcycle in all 50 states. He was a pivotal part of his community and used his time to volunteer often. He loved raising funds for St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital through the Tri-Cities Wings Motorcycle Club. He also raised funds and presented them to the FDNY in the aftermath of 9/11 in New York City.
Keith was loved by many friends and his family; his legacy will live on through fond, funny, and special memories.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Marsh; sons, Brian Marsh of Kingsport and Wes Marsh (Laci) of Orlando, Florida; granddaughter, Kenlee Marsh; sisters, Sue Pope (Barry), of Port Orange, Florida and Deb Miller (Jerry) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; his beloved North Carolina family. Special friends are Harold and Brenda Owens, Michael and Pam Browder, Jerry and Nelda Fleenor and Rod Holt, among so many others, including customers and employees of the Dairy Cup.
He was laid to rest at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mt. Carmel.

I grew up with Keith in the West Ridge area. I have many fond memories of those days. He will be missed.
