Norma Jean Shaver, 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 3, 2025, in North Augusta, SC.
Norma Jean was born in Sneedville, TN, to Henry and Blanche Seal. She raised her family in Morristown, TN, before moving to Kingsport, TN, with her husband, James "Jim" Shaver. They then settled in North Augusta, SC. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Norris Seal, and her brother-in-law JB Roberts.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Shaver, to whom she was married for 42 years; her son Brian Trent (Jenniffer); her grandchildren Taylor Trent (Rachel), Cassie Trent, and Colby Trent; and her great-grandchildren Maddox Trent, Hudson Trent, and Nora Trent. She is also survived by her sisters Ardis Roberts and Glenda Seal (Kenneth), and her brother Dwain Seal, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family of Norma Jean Shaver will receive friends on Tuesday, March 11, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m at Stetzer Funeral Home (146 E. Main Street, Morristown, TN). The funeral service will follow at 1 pm, with the Reverend Kenneth R. Seal officiating. The graveside committal will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at Hamblen Memorial Gardens (541 Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN).
