Rose Helen "Susie" Hyder

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Susie Hyder, who left this world on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 87 after a brief battle with pneumonia.

Susie was a woman of immense faith whose trust in God shaped every aspect of her life. She was a shining example of grace, compassion, and unconditional love.

She lived with a heart full of joy and a spirit that never seemed to slow down. She adored her family and poured her love into each one of them to make sure they always knew how much she deeply cherished them.

Her love for people was evident in everything she did. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. Her energy, enthusiasm for life, and her laugh were infectious. She was never one to sit idle, and she was always on the go. She always brought light and warmth to those around her.

Above all, she was a devoted mother and nana whose family was her greatest treasure. She leaves a legacy of love, faith, and joy that will continue to inspire us.

While our hearts ache with her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Heavenly Father, where there is no pain, no sorrow, and no end to the love she knew so well in this life.

Those left to cherish Susie's memory are her children, Charlie Hyder (Penny), Renee Garber (Geoff), Becca Perry (Chuck); grandchildren, Haleigh Garber, C.J. Hyder (Tori); Austin Hyder, Hannah Garber, Macy Hyder (Shelton), Emma Perry, Russell Perry; and three great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Section E with Lisa Bryant officiating. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:45 pm.

The care of Rose Helen "Susie" Hyder and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
